Hi All, Does anyone know if Easson and Sino DRO Scales to Readers are compatible or not ?. I have just bought a Turret Mill with an Easson ES10 2 Axis Dro on it. I have a brand new Sino SDS6-3V 3 axis DRO that I've had stored in a box since I bought it nearly 8 years ago. I plugged the Sino into the Easson scales on the mill this morning and it seemed to work ok, I only did basic travel movement on the X & Y. What I was wanting to do was use the Sino DRO reader on the mill and buy one scale to suit the knee (Z axis). I have scales for the Sino which are 320mm, 420mm, 720mm but none really suit as according to the original advert the knee travel is 445mm so a 520 or 550 scale would be more suitable. I could go the other way and buy an Easson 3 axis reader and one scale to suit the knee, but it will be a bit dearer. The Sino scales are KA300 and the one Easson scale I looked at had GS100350 350mm which from what I could find out it's a GS10 scale. Also does anyone know where I could find an Easson ES10 manual I looked, but had no luck. I thought I might use the Easson reader on something else one day. The picture of the Sino reader is the exact same one that I have. Which is better quality too the Easson or the Sino ?. I know the Easson are dearer than the Sino on the Machinery House website, but I might be wrong but it looks like the Sino has more functions.SINO SDS6-3V.jpg
Thanks in advance.
