Bruce,
I happen to have an original instruction manual for your lathe which covers the M.15, (15" swing) model and the M.16 (16" swing) model. From the photo you posted this manual is the right one for you. It has everything you need including exploded drawings of the whole sherang and is yours if you would like it. Just let me know where to post it.
Cheers, Peter.

I tried to edit my post but was unsucessful hence this second post.
I have just realized that you have said that your lathe is an Omnitool. The manual I have is , and I quote - "M series Omnispeeddrive High Speed Lathes models M.15", M16", 24", 36", 48", and 60" between centres".. However It would appear from the photo's in the manual and the photo you posted of yours that your lathe is either identical or is very very close to identical. If nothing else, there is an exploded drawing of the taper turner.
Cheers again, Peter.
