I'm be interested in that. The Small Mill (actually in the background). The drill press vices & milling vices, lathe tools, the McPhearsons charts & any catalogs, etc, etc, etc, But you need money to pay for it and space to put it, although last auction I went to the machines were going for around $40, so it may just be a space & transport issue.…..Live a Quiet Life & Work with your Hands

Thank you for posting this. Can anyone identify the mill? It's always a bit hard to tell size.

Attended part of the auction. The Qualos went for $700 and the Herless for $1100. The mill for $650.
I bought a brake cylinder hone and a torque wrench... most things went for too much.
Cheers,
JoeCheers,
Joe

Thanks DSEL74
Thanks DSEL74 for the info about this auction.
I had not noticed this auction even thou it is just down the road from me.
Like all auctions you need to know what things are worth. I picked up a few things for what I consider good prices ie less than what they go for on ebay. There where quit a few things that I thought went cheap but did not bid on as I already had them. There was also a few funny ones like the second hand non brand name bench grinder for nearly $200.
My bargain purchase was a 3.5m x 1.3m hard wood table for $20.........
the little yellow lathe went for over $650 from memory..
Joe was that you who bought the sidcrome talk wrench?
Cheers
