If you want to save you messages so you know who said what and when, tick the box at the top that ticks them all, then click on the text download at the bottom center and you can save all the messages as text in notepad.
You can then go ahead and delete the lot, after making sure it worked for your first time of course LOL.
I do this all the time so no valuable info goes astray.

HI,
Sorry I haven't replied earlier. I was pretty lucky with the workshop guys, I did some time there during my apprenticeship. I still see them every now and then so they where happy to help me out.
I think Pete has answered all relevant questions. We took so long due to my happy house hold requirements.

Another Way
An alternative exists for those that have no access to CNC graduating. The older Hercus compounds were graduated around the base. These compounds are something Mal at Australian Metalworking Hobbyist has from time to time. In fact he has one now - hercus 9' compound assy
