Frank was great when I ordered too, it was when Bruce and I had issues that he wasn't. Did you buy a wedge or piston post? My bxa wedge type had terrible backlash in the worm bush when I got it.

Aliexpress
G'Day Fellas,
Over the years I have purchased many items from CDCO, CTC & Seller68 with no problems at all, but with prices and postage creeping up I have have wondered about Aliexpress as most of their sellers seem to be a little cheaper. Not wanting to risk a large amount I ordered a Combination Square Set ($45.88 Posted) and a Mechanical Digital Mike ($26.12 ) from Milton Trading Co in Hong Kong on 10/1/13. They arrived 29/1/13 very well packed and undamaged. I found the signup at Aliexpress quick and easy, but I did spend a bit of time checking sellers feedback and some of the Mainland sellers were a bit of a worry.
Regards,
Martin

Martin,
I'm glad your Aliexpress experience went well. I have just opened up a dispute with a mainland Chinese seller over a mobile phone I bought on Aliexpress. The phone works perfectly, but I can't secure the back cover because the batteries (2 were supplied) are slightly too thick and prevent the plastic lugs on the back from engaging in the slots in the phone body.
The seller is refuting my claim and is saying that I don't know what I'm doing, since the battery is the correct part number. Anyway, it looks like I am going to have to submit a claim and let the staff at Aliexpress make a final decision. I'll report back here so you all have a better idea of how the Aliexpress dispute process works (or doesn't)
Be careful out there.

G'Day Jack ,
Sorry to hear about your phone hassles, when I was checking out feedback on mainland sellers I noticed 2 methods of wriggling out of disputes, one is to attack the purchaser claiming that they are liars, the other is to suddenly lose the ability to communicate in English and try to drag the dispute over the Aliexpress cutoff time.
Regards,
Martin

Proops Brothers United Kingdom.
Hi everyone, had a hair scratching problem here. Had a pair of Mikuni m/cycle carburettors sent to me to see if I could extract the idle mixture jets out of them.It appears that some one who couldnt get the bike to idle smoothly sped up the idle and glued the idle mix jets with some unknown substance. It has been nigh impossible to move the jets and short of filing them in the ''two hard basket'' aka the scrap bin.But a challenge is my quest so I checked my drill stock and cant find my nos 60- 80 drills.
Ah the joy of the internet.Ordered 1 set 60-80 drills, set of metric drills up to 1mm.
Ordered them last monday night and received an email of my order next morning.they arrived here at local post office Friday morning same week.13 pounds all up including delivery and insurance.
Think their service and turn around time excellent.
On the other hand I ordered a similar batch from a supplier earlier as I didnt look hard enough on my original google search. Am still waiting for the mail drop.
Maybe worth a save for you members for that fine drill tap or die you may need. John.

I have, over the last couple of years, sent Emails to CDCO wanting him to quote me postage on an order worth just over $100. Have never had a reply!!
Does this bloke want business or not? My $ is as good as the next bloke. I sent another Email only last week and......nothing. I will have to find another supplier.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Yes Fred I have seen that many blokes on here are happy with the service offered by CDCO. But as I have said, on the maybe 4 occasions over the last couple of years, that I have sent him Emails he is yet to respond! Why???
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Taiwantool
Hi Fellas,
Recently needed a 20mm MT 3 collet and discovered they were not the easiest things to find, a local seller had them at $36.00 plus postage or Taiwantools at $10.50 plus postage, the service from Taiwantools was phenomenal, emails were answered within minutes in perfect English, before dispatch I was sent photos of the actual product and the shipping label to confirm all was OK. They could teach their Hong Kong and Mainland cousins a few things about customer service. Highly recommended.
Regards,
Martin

"General Tools" at Dry Creek in Adelaide. (near Salisbury)
Great service and they even have second hand Hercus machines. Also... Mitutoyo and Starrett tools.
And they regularly have specials that are truly specials.
No affiliation.
