Fay and Egan jointer Gibb Screws
I picked up a 1920’s era J.A. Fay & Egan No 16 12” jointer and it’s missing some of the gibb screws from the cutter head they are 7/8” 16tpi with a 1/2” square socket... we question is how hard would they be to remake? Obviously cutting the threads and point would be straight forward but how would you do the square socket...I believe they are very hard as well.
