Fiddly Piddly Grinding - Here's An Idea
Found this earlier - http://taylorhorology.com/2014/05/ While I'm not keen on the idea of grinding on the lathe, I'm sure something could be knocked up to support a cheap Dremel or similar horizontally as a substitute for a watchmaker's lathe.
There's some other interesting stuff in his blog...
