    That is true, but as a non drinker of beer I don't take a lot of notice now that wine/beer divisions have been split. I had actually forgotten.

    I am more interested in the constant rumors of which company is eyeing off Treasury Wines for ingestion. We have been thru it before. Rosemount took over SouthCorp some years ago as well. Ohh! hangon. It was the other way around. It just seemed like that at the time. Buy a massively in debt company for an astronomical figure and give the previous owners almost total control of the whole shebang. It was this takeover that put SouthCorp in a position to allow its takeover by Fosters Group.

    We still make very saleable wine and we have little trouble selling it. That is the result of many factors, but we are in a very good position.
