cheap tricks
hi here is a easy way to clean swarf out of chucks and face plates before fitting them to the head stock spindle.
its about 100mm long and made from a coat hanger. brass rod would of been a better choice but this will do for now.

After seeing this, I made one from some brazing rod. Should have done it years ago.

it is handy i will make a another one once i come across the right material.
i thought of brazing rod as well but i dont have much.coat hangers i have lots of.
there is a lot of little tricks out there.
