Default Greg Q where are you?

Has our beloved Greg Q been banned from this forum? Why has our inimitable guru of machinery and coffee making gone silent? Are there no computers in Queensland or the internet?

I for one miss his unique style of writing and sadistic sense of humour.

    Where are you?

He's around, I got an email from him a week or 2 ago. You have to keep in mind that Queensland is 20 years behind the times so any post here won't show up until 2034 or so...

How weird is that? This morning I tried to call him again - and got his message bank again. I've left several messages for him to call me back - but he hasn't. I guess he has his reasons.....
Has anyone else spoken to him at all - other than the e-mail to PDW?
    Cheers,
    Joe

I was talking to his little North American woodwacker mate. Who wish's to remain anonymous. For the sake of the urgument, lets call him Mike.

According too. G'Q was in the Northern hemisphere, on "Vacation". (As opposed to Holiday). Because they dont do that North.

He was due back, about now, give or take a few days

Default Thanks for the thoughts, fellas

I was on vacation/holiday in Canada when this thread started. I just spoke to Joe Hovel and he alerted me to this thread.

My daughter and I had a great time canoeing in the north woods looking at the many woodland critters followed by a couple of days wandering around New York.

Since we decamped to Queensland I was ignoring the metalworking thing owing to being in shock after selling off all of my very nice mills and shop stuff.

As I mentioned to Joe, Heather and I just bought an acre of land in the hinterland uphill from the Gold Coast. We expect to be building the Taj Mahal of sheds (with attached bungalow) in a few months. I fear that I shall have to re-embrace my inner woody once again, as well as learning advanced bobcat skills.

I promise to again be a regular contributor to the forum...I have enjoyed my little break but do want to burden you all with my quirky sense of humour...

    Best,

    G. Q.

If your hiring a bobcat, I'm there. The farmers son in me, I can teach you all sort's of things in those.

I think a road trip is in order. I have a lathe to deliver. Can you blokes tolerate 18 hours under a tarp, in the back of my trailer?

Hydroponic, no doubt. Hence the need for a big shed with - of course - 3 phase power.
