What grit for carbide tooling
Wondering what grits silicon carbide wheel, I should be using for sharpening my 10mm carbide tipped lathe tooling, 60, 80, 160, 240? I realise that I'll need two of them, a course and a fine, but not sure which I'd need. Fitting them onto a 6" double ended grinder.
Thanks
Kryn

Hi Kryn,
I juts have an 80 and then finish off with a diamond hone. The finish off the 80 is pretty decent.
Cheers,
