Quite interesting, as it happens I am in the process of having a new workshop built, after a quarter of a century of fiddling in my simple garage/shed, I'll have one that is higher, longer and wider and doesn't leak water.
I had a play and noted that I have too much room, I know that feeling will not last too long
Mick.

I have had a play with the Grizzly planner a few times and it is a good one, and for free as well. But I have one complaint, it doesn't have metal shapers on it. Also I wonder how long it will take to remove the 3616 and the 3617 mills and a few other machines since they have been discontinued.
From what I can remember, it has been around for 2 or more years.
I find that drawing it on paper and doing it in reality, doesn't work real well.
Over the last 2 months I have done a major re arrange in my shed and have moved some of the bigger machines around up to 4 times just to get enough room to walk between most of them. It all looked good on the plan in my head, but when they where in position they either stuck out too far or where to close to something else.
Maybe if you had a new bare shed and plenty of room it would work better.
I am now on the home stretch with mine and only have to move the tooling closer to where the machines are, and making some storage boxes etc.
I really do need my shed extension.
Dave

At least 3 years ( though the link to the actual planner doesn't work anymore )
