Apparently this tool is a size 3. If I'm reading the data sheet posted by Ray correctly, this tool won't work on my Hercus 260 with its 4-way tool post. The bottom of the tool slot on the Hercus 260 4-way is 18mm below centre height. I think I would need a size 2. Have I got that right?

Sorry boys, I 've been dragging my feet on this one. It appears that all the questions bar the lack of inclinability, have been answered. I wonder if the tool is fairly old, predating the round shank / square sleeve versions shown in the Ifanger illustrations?
All in all, a nice bit of gear if you have a lathe that will fit the tool.
