Hacksaw Jig
Am cleaning up the shed at the moment and came across this from my fathers estate.
An Eteco Hacksaw Jig manufactured by C C Engineering Industries in Sydney - long since gone from my best knowledge. Would think it might be post war but my father was a between wars apprentice boilermaker so it could be from that time.

Anyone tell me more about it and whether it is collectable? It is designed to be clamped to a 4" Dawn engineers vice. Not worth me keeping it because I don't do a lot of metal work but offionados out there might have different ideas.

Hi Jamie,
Beautiful looking set.
As well as the TTTG, you could also contact the HTPAA http://www.htpaa.org.au
There are members of both groups on the forums here. I'd contact Peter McBride aka Lightwood, or Peter Evans aka HeavensAbove.
ETECO is Efficient Tool & Engineering Co, I think? Not sure where C.C Engineering fit into the picture, maybe ETECO is a marketting brand of CC.
Seeing as it's from your father's estate, I would think it has some sentimental value.
Regards
Ray

G'day Keith,
I'm at the Brisbane T&WWWS at the moment but when I get a chance I'll try and scan the original manual for you.
Regards
