    HI,
    Yes they would be Handy for that. Also apart from numerous uses one that comes to mind is reading the Numbers on the Ends of Carby Jets. I might get a couple of them. Mike.

    I bought this pocket X 100 microscope for $3 .. my camera doesnt do a good job at capturing the image down the viewer ..It is great for checking edges of tooling .....

    Well,
    Mine arrived today, AND IT WORKS WELL.
    It's quite small and compact and is very easy to carry in my pocket comfortably.
    It has 2 light settings Bright and dim and the slide focus works quite well also..
    So I would have to say $2.60 well spent.
    I think I will order a few more before they go up in price.

    I hope everyone else's is in the same working condition.
