    G'Day Ramsay a.k.a. Michael,
Thanks for dropping in to our forum, as you can see we are a pretty friendly lot as I mentioned, and I should have warned you about the pictures too, but in any case you know all about it now. For the rest of you blokes who may not have been aware of it, Ramsay has been uploading links to pdf manuals, brochures, parts lists etc to his Yahoo Group site which I heartily recommend, - it's a great source of info and support for K&T owners / operators, and nice and friendly just like here. Cheers and best wishes Ramsay,
    Rob

Although maybe not the right thread, I am guessing you have bought a K&T Rob? I looked at one earlier in the year, but the x was a little short for me. I know there was a vertical for sale on Ebay some months back. Like you just said about the pictures.....

    Cool Thanks Everyone

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I will try to post some pics when I get a chance.. I haven't done alot in my shop lately as the weather has been terrible here...

For the member who wants to know about my LeBlond, It is a 1940 fifteen inch Regal with threaded spindle which was bought new by a local university.. I bought one prior then bought another from the same lot.. They have consecutive serial numbers..

A few pics of an old 2h Milwaukee that I bought from a family whose grandfather had died and left machines to be sold off...

I am a collector of old machinetools mainly Kearney and Trecker... I have much info on K&T as well as Southbend, LeBlond, some Van Norman, Steptoe, etc.. I have a good sharing site that is free so I am happy to share.. Ramsay1 in USA..

Great photos of your shop and tools Ramsay, thanks for sharing them with us. Is the South Bend lathe pictured a Heavy 16, or was the heavy 16 a beefier machine again? Finally do you use your 2D as a go to machine, or is it more complex to use than your other mills, (or otherwise less useful) and you end up using another machine? Regards,
    Rob
