Default Possible Help with a Machine in Sydney Area

Hi all, a quick post for possible help. I have placed a crazy (crazy cheap) bid on an item that is in Sydney, expecting to be outbid almost straight away. With 3 hours to go I am still the highest bidder. If I win it will be rather inconvenient to pick up but at the same time possibly a bargain of the century. Pickup is strictly Monday 14th July or Tuesday 15th July BH. On the off chance that I win this thing, is there ANYONE out there who could pick it up on my behalf and keep it for a week or two? It weighs about a tonne and so at least a tandem would be needed. I think lifting is available at site but I will make sure for certain. The item is in Campbelltown. Cheers, Simon

If you put the link up to the item here, someone may be able to help you out

Well ive been outbid.... as expected. Im off the hook!

I was trying to find a way to tell the misses that we are going on a road trip to sydney. In the end I just texted her saying ooops! I may have accidently bought something is sydney.... then lots hugs and kisses. Then duck for cover. She took it much better than expected. Seems a shame to waste the oppotunity since she thinks I bought something! What else can I buy......

Ha I saw that and figured (stupidly) that it must have been avery very specialized mill because it didnt look like a mill!

Wrt the grinder. From what small amount of info there is on nagase machines they seem pretty good. In all accounts too big, and too complex for my needs in all honesty. Add that to ghe fact its in another state and needs to be picked up smack bang in the middle of some night shifts made it improbable. But I could have overlooked all that and made it happen if the price was silly which it still may have been but not silly enough. Ill keep looking. Plenty more fish!

At least I can't be blamed for this desire for a SG - I mean just because you picked one up for me that does not mean...

    Oh wait.

Yea right. You and Joe can both go and have a long hard look at yourselves in the mirror. You are both to blame!

Apex machinery in Mordialloc have a J&S, a repco power tool and a nagase SGW-4 (same as auction) apparently, so I may go and have a look, if for nothing else other than familiarisation of some very commonly available machines.

Need to be careful doing things like this Simon, I know a guy with a jig grinder doing exactly that. There was a nagase just down the road from you I was bidding on the day before I got the above. But for a couple of reasons I didnt go very hard and missed it.

At least your machine would have been more useful

Wrt that SG I assume it was hydraulic feed which I dont think I really need. Are all auto feeds on SG hydraulic?
