Default Herless BM-450A or Hafco TC-450 T&C Instructions Wanted

    HI ALL,
My Boss recently Bought a Herless BM-450A Universal Tool & Cutter Grinder which appears to be the same as a Hafco TC-450. I was wondering if any Members of this Forum might be able to Help us out (don't mind paying) with a Copy of the Instructions/Manuals for either of the Grinders. Also does Anyone know what other Companies Made or Sold this Tool & Cutter Grinder either here or Overseas ?.
    Thanks in advance.

Mate. I cant help you with your problem but i have one of my own that i hope someone can assist with,
I have a Rexon CQ6230AEngine lathe Tiawanese i think and would dearly like to get hold of a copy of the operators manual.
I would also like to buy an attachment (a verticle mill slide to suit it as well.
    Can you offer any suggestions.

For the Tool and Cutter Grinder, I don't have a book but if you go to Ebay Uk and look for seller Mary Poppins Bag there is a great CD with a lot of Tool and Cutter Grinding info on it ( use Buy it Now)
The Lathe, Probably very basic, but I have seen the CQ6230 number around a lot with different names attached- have a look at Grizzly, Harbour Freight (US) and Warco,Axminster and Chester (UK)
I am sure you will find something

It is a pretty common grinder that one... I seriously doubt any instruction manual would be much use anyway.. They are usually written in chinglish then translated to Portuguese then retranslated to English...

What do you want to sharpen?

    HI ALL,
John if You Google CQ6230A you will find Many Manufacturers and Suppliers of them. They are Made in China not Taiwan. Hare & Forbes AL-335 is a CQ6230A. Here is a Link for a Manual. Click on the Link and it will start Downloading Straight away, it is quite safe I downloaded it with No Problems. Its about 8.7MB in size. http://www.pioneersi.com/content/pio...00C_manual.pdf . Vertical Milling Slides come up on Ebay from Time to Time. Also suggest Googling for them. Try Shars, Grizzly and Harbor Freight.

I have the Mary Poppins CD, I bought it a while ago - very good CD. We will be mostly Sharpening Lathe Tools, End Mills and Slot Drills. A Manual would be Good to have, but if not My Boss can work it out as He is a Qualified Fitter & Turner from Years ago. I agree with the Chinglish, seen many bad Manuals over the Years.
