Looks a bit like my old Pallas, but my Pallas was different slightly..

    Hi Bryan,
At this stage I really don't know. When I bought the shaper the guy said he had a milling machine for $200, and after looking at it I bought it as well.
So it really owes me near nothing, and when you look at buying a table for a shaper off ebay it will cost you that or more for one.

I have no plans to pull it down any time soon, I only posted because I found the photos, so it will just sit there while I decide.
If I pull the screw and thats it, I will put another back in it the same pitch and then probably sell it on, not sure as yet.

A lot of similarities between them, but I think yours has a bigger table and it looks like it swivels as well?

Dave, my 1948 Deckel had a Demco badge, but it looks much newer than your badge, which makes me think pre-war. (As if the line shaft wasn't clue enough)

Demco seemed to sell a mix of machines from what I have seen, it would go well in Phil's shop with the line shaft set up.

If I do eventually sell it, I will have to mod the flat belt into a V belt like in the link from Nev, thanks again for that Nev.

If it was pre 1912 Dave I would be all over you like a rash. Ya gotta love line shafting.
