I forgot to mention, there are numerous downloadable VFD manuals here...

OK Ray. The full manual with error codes would be a good start. I managed to optimise it to 10MB.
My edited Word version goes to 3.6MB in PDF form.
The CNCDIY version should have that in the filkename. I can't do anything about their footers in PDF anyway.
The rest are all PDF (and one small .dll)
Now makes a total of 15.5MB....

Guys if you think the different versions have their places, maybe my idea wasn't so great. Maybe just an expanded version of the version list Joe wrote, with filenames and links, would be helpful to circulate.

    Hi Bryan,

Well, you procrastinated far too long... Joe beat you to it..

I've put up a basic web page here Huanyang Library

That's a domain that I've been intending to use to document some electronic projects, so this fits nicely into that category...

    Regards
    Ray

    Now that's a team!

Hang on.... wasn't it Stu's job to 'invent things' and then have Ray and me to execute them?????

Damn it Ray, we've been sucked in again!

Well I have lashed out and bought one of these inverters for my little TC grinder (1/3hp motor)

I think I will need to make a dust proof enclosure for it....... The quality seems quite good.... Seems the cheap stuff I get out of China direct is a step above in quality then the cheap china stuff I see in retail stores...

I found that I needed to set PD070 to 1 in order to get 2400 rpm, without this I only got 12000 rpm. This changes the analog input range from 0-10v to 0-5v.
Only took me about 2 hours to work it out.
