It will be a chinese or taiwanese made clone...
Apparently according to lathes.co.uk, clones were made..Light red, the colour of choice for the discerning man.

It is a pirated (unlicensesd) Taiwanese copy, known in other countries as the Colt 7x 20 or 7x30 lathe. Totally overpriced at $2000.

The seller does not seem to be upfront about it being a clone!
Out of interest I will message him and ask where it is made…….
SimonGirl, I don't wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that." I mean, you tell me you're, uh, super-mega-ultra-lightning babe? That's all right with me. I'm good. I'm good.

Not the same thing. Hercus was a legitimate license of South Bend and got the blueprints and support from South Bend. They even supplied some lathes to South Bend with the South bend label on it.
Whereas Myford never granted licenses nor got money for it. They did however for some time have castings for their milling machine manufactured in Taiwan.
