Small job fixing a flight simulation mounting
Hi All,
I'm having trouble finding someone to do this through the usual route.
Wondering if anyone on here can give me a quote on this? I'm in the Concord/Rhodes area but will drop off the part anywhere in Sydney to get it done.
Basically I purchased a flight sim kit with stands, arms, chairs etc etc. However the base is too narrow to fit the pedals.
So - I'd like someone to remove the support bars and reposition them wider out. Would need welding gear, but also some additional steel tubing as well.
This is how it looks right now - too narrow: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29331868/Obu...s/IMG_0341.JPG
Thanks guys!Last edited by DavidG; 12th November 2011 at 08:38 AM. Reason: removed none working links

Can you adjust the pedal spacing inward? They look too far apart to me compared to a real aircraft. Also, was this a retail or used purchase?

Hi Greg
Pedals can't be adjusted, they are just right for a 6" person like me too.
Also it's not just the pedal clearance issue, I want leg clearance too.
The pedals only look wide in context of the base they are in.
It's purchased new but it's a hybrid kit for racing sims or flight sims. Racing pedals obviously fit easily but flight sim is tight.
I'll get some pics of a guy overseas who solved it.
