Lathe Milling Vice
Where about would I be able to find a vice like this to suit a 9 X 20 lathe?

Here are some off the shelf solutions: Lathe Milling Slides | buy slides online Local suppliers also carry them, and I've seen them on ebay.
Some people like to homebrew, eg: https://www.woodworkforums.com/f65/wi...chment-126150/
Will also attach a pic of my setup. I used my existing compound slide and a toolmaker's vise, mounted to a home made angle bracket. It doesn't rotate and I wish it did. It looks clunky as hell but is very solid.
If you do a forum search you will find other versions.Last edited by Bryan; 8th January 2011 at 08:41 PM. Reason: More info.
