my lathe is for sale
up for sale is my mars lathe that was built in 1903 for the Australian armed forces.
It is regretable that the old girl needs a new and loving home but I accidentaly bought a brand new lathe.As I have never had a brandnewy I lashed out and spoiled myself.
The Mars is a big lathe at 1300 between centes,has power crossfeed.and all the usual things that go on lathes....... Best you go to my website have a looksee and email me if you are interested...rough price range is around $$1500.00 or best reasonable offer.

You bought a new lathe accidentally? I would ring up your insurance company and see if you can claim this LOL. Ahh gratz on the new purchase anyway nothing wrong with spoiling yourself. It will be interesting to hear how the new machine will compare to the oldie?
