Default How to make a loco

I came across this video about making locomotives:

Some great quotes, teamwork and some great mos.

Once you've got the loco up and running here's some maintenance tips.

    "Here's to you 6207"

Someone posted that some time back, great video. I love the guys sitting on the billet of steel for ballast as it goes into the furnace.

The second vid i had not seen, more fantastic stuff, thanks.

Default I've seen that post and like it.

Pays to remember where we come from and how we got here I think.
Here's an older similar version, rough around the edges and not a talkie so beware hideous Muzak.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcbTXlMSCwk

Imagine there in a Montreal winter..... 6-8" of fresh snow, -15C, squawking steps, steam swirling.... the real value of a cup of tea and a pal's lament then?

As much as we look back at such nostalgic endeavour it is something we won't see unless perhaps you happen to be in India or perhaps China.
