    Just spotted this:
Winkelfräser Dovetail cutter D14 55° HSS | eBay
might just do 1/2" deep - maybe with a little grinding to thin the shaft where it would touch....

    Default Nuttal Herbert spares.

Swarfmaker1, there is a tailstock and other odd pieces for a Nuttal Herbert listed on Ebay at the moment. I don't know yet how to link to the item but the item number is: 290666486285. Hope this is of use, Mm.

Just for future reference, you copy the address of the page your on from the address bar at the top of the page (http:// etc) and paste it in your message. The forum will then automatically make it a clickable link.

Thanks Metalman, I appreciate the heads up. Looking at the photos the tailstock and chuck are for the lathe. Not certain about the rest of it. Pick up only though. Probably 50 or 60 KG worth of goods there.

One of my contacts in the US from whom I buy specialist tap and die sets for pen making has contacted me to ask to let you know that he has 20 of the 55 deg dovetail cutters on order. They will arrive in about 45 days from the manufacturer referred to in the Alibaba link.

    His name is Mike Redburn

You could drop him a line to find out pricing etc.
