    Mate you don't need no tables only 2 formulas for any and all dividing heads

    I will keep it simple most dividing heads are 40/1 reduction so ill use that, if your head is a 60, 80 or a completely stupid reduction like 55 then substitute that into the top of the formula below

    Turns = reduction eg 40
    ................divisions

    For angles:

    Turns degrees = 8degrees
    ..........................angle

    ok ill do some examples, divisions of 8 and an angle of 35 degrees on 40 and 60 reduction

    1#
    Turns = 40
    ............8
    = 5 find a common factor and simplify
    ...1
    8 holes = 5 full turns on a 40/1 reduction head

    2#
    Turns = 60
    ............8
    =7 turns 1 ok now find the largest dividable
    ............2 set of hole spacings... lets say 36

    8 holes = 7 full turns and 18 holes on the 36 hole plate

    Have I lost you yet? no? stay tuned

    Ok so ill show you how to work out an angle now its dead easy mate

    What ever reduction your diving head uses, Divide that into 360degr
    example.

    360 = 8degr
    40
    360 = 6degr
    60

    Ok so now you know how many degrees your dividing head moves with one full turn on the dividing plate you can take your formula below...

    Turns = ....... angle
    ..........degrees per turn

    Edit: I now realize my formula in the post above is wrong BUT this IS correct

    ok ill do an example with 35degr

    1#
    Turns = 35 = 4 turns and 3 ... Again look for the biggest common
    ............8 ....................8 ....hole set on your plates..16,24 & 32

    35degrees = 4 full turns and 12 holes on a 32 hole plate on a 40/1 reduction head

    #2
    turns = 35 = 5 turns and 5
    ...........6.. ................. 6

    35degrees = 5 full turns and 20 holes on a 24 hole plate on a 60/1 reduction head

    Tip ALWAYS look for the largest hole set available with your dividing head... It is more accurate and turning the handle will be easier

    I hope these formulas were clear if not get a black book
