Looking for a Metal Worker in SW Brisbane for small turning job
Hi, I usually deal in timber so I do not have access to a metal lathe and am looking to see if anyone in the SW area of Brisbane can do a small job for me.
I have 4 lengths of 12mm rod which I need to have the ends turn downed to accommodate a 3/8" or equivalent thread to suit a Wingnut. See attached PDF
I do have hand held threading gear that can cut the thread but do not have a metal lathe to reduce the ends of the rod.
Any help in this matter would be appreciated and an idea of cost.
Cheers in advance
Scott

Can-Do as Well ...
Hello Scott,
I'd also be able to fit you in - we would do-it-while-u-wait. I'm at Karana Downs, just off the Warrego Hwy.
Regards, Daryl

I would like to thank all who offered to help me with this project and a big thank you to Darbee who did the job for me this afternoon.
Very professional job and a cuppa on the verandah afterwards overlooking the river.
Thanks again Daryl, I will put the rods to great use...... love your set up there.
