Default M8 Tee Nuts and Brass Tipped set Screws.

Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone knows of a local supplier. I haven't done the ring around yet, but the net hasn't been real productive. I'm just chasing four of the tee nuts and four M12 brass tipped set (grub) screws 40mm long. Of course the other alternative is just to knock them up, but I was hoping to just easily buy them off the shelf.
Some of this slow moving stuff seems so hard to get now. I was chasing up a metre length of high tensile M20 by 1.5mm all thread a couple of weeks ago only to be told by all the local suppliers that it's no longer available!!
    Thanks for any help.

Something I read recently, was that for a brass tipped set screw/bolt, drill a small hole in the bottom and use a small brass screw scrounged from electrical plugs, the hole is drilled just small enough for the screw to be pressed in by tightening. Send me a PM regarding T nuts, I have some I don't use. Do they fit into a 10mm slot.

That is a useful tip. I do a similar thing myself. Brass welding rod works well too. Ought to be put on the tips page

Thanks for that Kryn, I'll send you a PM. Yes they do fit a 10mm slot.
