Use of machine shop in Brisbane
Hello all,
I'm just wondering if there is anywhere that you can pay a small fee to use the lathe of a workshop if the cost of a lathe or space for one isn't an option?
TAFE maybe? Any idea for the Brisbane area greatly received
Cheers

Google 'mens shed brisbane'. These are community groups that sometimes have equipment you may be able to use. You may have to wade through some BS though.

What sort of machinery do you need?
I think Kenmore mens shed (Shed West - Home) have a lathe. Brisbane Hackerspace at fortitude valley (hsbne.org) have a 9x20" lathe and some other machine tools.--
