I have purchased Rudy's books (the 4 real printed ones) so dont include those..I also have volume 1&2 of Steam and Stirling etc as ebook's

For anyone thinking they are free, think again. although you can down load for free you need a security code to open them up which you have to pay for...

I intend to download for free a whole lot over several days as it saves buying a 30day access and then buy a 3day pass to access the codes which allows one to remove the security...wink wink say nomore else I might get into trouble

Eskimo, the downloads that need a code are a ripoff. You are dealing with criminals somewhere in India, and should not be surprised if you pay for a code that may not unlock the book. I would also be very worried about giving away credit card details to such people, as this may instead be usful to unlock your bank account.

I did notice though, that several of Rudy's videos are currently a free torrent download. As are the very interesting two CD's left behind by the late J.W.Early containing his life long collection of scanned ME magazines.

no I have already downloaded a few 8 or so WPS and the codes worked and also worked on the 2 steam engine volume series

I use a low limit credit card for stuff like this...? alltho some times the orders are too big ....but in any case the site to pay for the ebook code uses paypal.

I would think you would be able to find something of interest in all the refference books listed.You would have to try by some means to workout if any of these books repeat themselves.

Have read here that some people have aquired books that have just had a different cover.

Once you know what type of machining you will mostly be doing that will probably be a starting point,also if the books are suited to the size or similar machines to what you have.

If you have limited knowledge,you may find some of the books a little advanced.

At the end of the day it dosent really matter how many you have they will all be an aid,just dont treat them as a bible.
