MARKS Benchgrinder ??
Gents,
Had a good arvo poking through peoples stuff they are selling. Picked up a great workbench and a old but in good nick, Dawn engineers vice.
One place I was at has a bench grinder, it is very old and a bit grubby but the wheels spin nicely and there is no play in the bearings that I could detect.
Anyway, there is a brass plaque on the front with the name 'MARKS', there is other info I could not read.
Anyone know of these grinders? I googled with no success. I am going back in the morning to offer them $40.00.
Is this worth it or not?
Mike

Bit hard to say with out looking at it ,and depending on what size it is .
if its an 8" then probably a bargain. 6" bench grinders are next to useless ,although I do have one but don't use it much .
