    Hi guys
The best Yankee made belts I could get in town were Dayco belts.

I quoted the number on the old belts to the man VA582 and he said "Oh ,forty one inch",off the top of his head and I parted company with $34 and walked away with 2 belts.

Pulley is now aligned and waiting for belts
No string handy ,but had to use a straight edge.

Its too late now and too many sandflies around. You fellas shouldn,t have any of the buggers at your place as I think they are all here in Mackay.
Next job is too grab some filter material as the old ones are RS.
I should have compressed air soon.Yahoo!

New bearings have gone in but I thought I would also replace the belts. The branding is long gone after 30 years of use.
In fact the whole unit has never had any maintainence bar a filter and a bit of compressor oil.

Are the belts measured on outside circumference or inside?

    Thanks
