If you like parametric drawing, have a look at Alibre (www.alibre.com) They have a free version.

i use Rhino 3D its a solid 3D drawing program with heaps of features and unlike the other programs its free to download and they dont ask you for heaps of personal details just an email address. its very complicated but will do everything and more that programs such as Inventor will do but you have to spend some time learning the ropes and thats where Youtube come in handy great program
