And here is Beck's response (typed prior to GQ 's and DJ's posts)
regarding zimoun.. that's great! i have seen some of their videos before. i like how straightforward all of the projects are.
I will check out the various clips at bunnings. i have checked and the diameter of the motor is only 21mm
i've been to jaycar and once spoken to a guy who was incredibly helpful. listened to what i was trying to achieve and offering me a number of options. no one else i've ever spoken to spoken to has even really listened to what i was saying when i've gone in
in regards to phil's offer, that sounds fantastic! i haven't actually decided on the final number of motors i will be using..
the idea of using zip ties is interesting. i think i have a few here that i can try the idea out with
thanks so being so helpful everyone. i appreciate it!

I'll have a quiet word with her about the use of capital letters. Text message generation.

I'd have a few sizes of screw-down cable tie base's , I wouldn't miss.

Now why do I get the feeling you're going to need lots of good luck.

Hi Bob,
In the UK this clip is known as a "Terry Clip". Often made from stainless steel.
A cheap alternative is the "P" clip. These can easily be made but can be purchased in both plastic and metal.
A third alternative but much more expensive is a "Capacitor Clip (Clamp)".

The place Beck's request into some sort of context, here are a couple of pages from her project proposal. I've moved on from trying to get her to draw with vanishing points.
