    Default Merry Christmas to Me.

After number of years of failing to get what I wanted for Christmas, I have come to the conclusion that the fat fella in a red suit is totally unreliable. So I brought me a Christmas present.
Very late at night on 23 December I saw the metal lathe that I wanted on special $300 off. Next day I completely forgot about it until smoko time. I gave them a ring not expecting anyone to be there on 24 December. To my surprise someone answered so I bought it.
On Tuesday one of the freight depots contact me and said that they had a box for me, I arrange them to come around with their forklift to unload it, 135 kg it a bit heavy for me to lift. I couldn't wait to get home and lifted the lid.

I started to pull all the loose parts off it,

and then the wife Said "We are going out to tea."
Wednesday I arrange for a mate to give me a lift, bought a trolley with a lift home from work . We moved it into my shed temporarily put it on our washing machine stand that I am building. Then we had to be of obligationary beer's.(Cooper's Beer)
Thursday and Friday nights I spent cleaning all the oil, grease and gunk oft the lathe and accessories.
Saturday I put it all back together, and then realised that I had no cutting tools. :taped:

So I started to weld up a frame for the bench that it will be mounted on.

Now I have to impatiently wait for some tools to turn up.
