    HI,
Perhaps try Contacting Carmar directly say thru here Carmar Technology Co.,ltd. - Linear Scale, Toolmakers Microscope, Profile Projector or Contact this Indian Supplier Digitals Read Out Counter, carmar dro, engineering machines, Carmar High Precision Linear Scale .

Have You thought about using something like this eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d. Using something like that should allow You to Mount the Reader up near the Carmar DRO reader although its Wire Lead length may be an issue.

I believe from initially Talking to Hare & Forbes about the DRO that I could swap the Inputs around and just Reprogram the DRO, but I've gotten use to it so I think I'll just leave it alone for now.

    Hi Eskimo,
I used a micro scale with my Meister set up. At the time they had a package that came with that one scale micro scale with the XPOS 3, but from memory it was around $920 back then,
I was told they are worth more than a standard scale, so they might be pricey, but they fit the spot really well and don't get in the way. Meister will fit whatever plug you need to fit any DRO.
I ordered a 70mm scale for mine, but was able to tweak the compound to get 82mm and the scale will also do that length. Just be careful ordering a longer scale as it will come out to the hand wheel like in the link below which is 120mm scale as they seem to go up in 50mm steps.

Here is a Sino scale fitted to a compound.
