I used to have metal and boats not displayed in the new posts listing. Thats has now died.
I put up with it by going into the forum list and double clicking to get rid of those posts before I went to new posts.
Metal and boats are not in that list anymore, are they...
Now I'd need to go thru each of your top tabs to clear them all before going to new posts.
Maybe the next thing to fix are the settings so I can set to now longer see them.
I've had to move to IE as well to do a reply, I'm not going to do that for long either. I'll go back to a mozilla browser soon and if reply doesn't work then well so be it.

I have not had a single issue with firefox.......
Just to add, Peter i do agree with you, it would be easier to browse new posts if i could remove boat building, pyrography, instrument making etc. But i'll just have to wait.1915 17"x50" LeBlond heavy duty Lathe, 24" Queen city shaper, 1970's G Vernier FV.3.TO Universal Mill, 1958 Blohm HFS 6 surface grinder, 1942 Rivett 715 Lathe, 14"x40" Antrac Lathe, Startrite H225 Bandsaw, 1949 Hercus Camelback Drill press, 1947 Holbrook C10 Lathe.

Not sure if it was clear, but I meant use your browser to add a bookmark. Pop it in your toolbar if you like.
Golly, I must be a dinosaur. I don't understand half of these features people are complaining about.
But I don't seem to have much trouble finding what I want.

Bryan, I must of had my eyes shut because I didn't see the top bookmark or drop down or whatever its called. But I do now and all my complaints have disappeared. The only firefox I know about is the one with Clint Eastwood in it. My general way of fixing my computer problems is to turn it off and pull out the battery, wait 5 then put it back togather, tell it not to do it again and off I go. Works everytime.

Ben I don't think you're blind, I think those links were only added yesterday. And I was being a smart-#### earlier, sorry. I gotta stop shooting from the hip. And when I said all the features people are complaining about, I was thinking mainly of this thread: https://www.woodworkforums.com/f36/so...outage-158601/.

HI,
You could always Create a Shortcut to Metalwork Forum on Your Desktop. That way if You want to come straight here without going through anything else You can. To Create the Shortcut simply Right Click on an open space on the Page and then Select 'Create shortcut' . I suggest You Left Click on 'METALWORK FORUMS' that is directly after 'Forum' in the left Upper Section on this Page before Creating the Shortcut - by doing this your shortcut on your desktop will take you the home section of metalwork forums.
I hope this Helps. All The Best steran50 Stewart

Woodworkers wish they could invent an 'add on saw'. Metalworkers call it a welder.
This was an attempt at humour rather than trying to start world war 3.
I don't know if this has been covered, but the forum has improved IMHO, in that every time you click on a thread, it DOESN'T open up a new browser. Under the old forum you could end up with a thousand browser tabs if you didn't close them diligently. I am exaggerating but why spoil a good story for the sake of the truth....
