    Default Mick Moyle's Engineers Supplies

    Hiya guys

If you guys want to find stuff for a Lathe, Mill or Drill go to Mick Moyle's Engineers Supplies in Sydney. I stumbled accross this joint a few months ago. The guy's got everything as far as parts for machines go. I picked up some back-gears for a Hercus. He has a website www.moyles.com.au

Be aware that there is/are 2 "Moyle's" in Sydney - the one at Summer Hil that the above URL leads to, and another (big-ish) chain of engineering/workshop suppliers who do not sell 2nd hand gear & parts for odd machines.

Default Mick Moyle's the Summer Hill one

    Hiya BSRLEE

The one I found was in Summer Hill. I did a net search for the other one but did not find it. I'm going down there this week so I will ask Mick about the big-chain one. I need a diehead and some ward 2d collets. What sorts of stuff do the other guys sell? Are they as cheap?

I have also been to Mick's at Summer Hill. He is stocked up with lots of goodies, from nuts and bolts, tools, measuring equipment, machines and parts. I bought some left hand taps and dies from him to make my own hand screw clamps. Cost me about $30 and now I can make as many I want and any size I want...

The 'other' mob are listed in the Yellow Pages (I thought there were more branches, now it seems there is only one). They regularly send a mate of mine big glossy ads for gear. Maybe an old family arguement? Anyhow, the Mascot mob are closer to an upscale Bunnings for engineers, Mick Moyles looks to be more a serious machinery shop.
