Need someone to mill aluminium plate in Bris.
I am trying to get a plate of 8mm aluminium cut to a triangular shape(about 250mm sides)Then a number of holes accurately sized and located, drilled into the plate.I had a place that works with aluminium do it for me, but when i got it home i found the holes were not accurately positioned or the right size.
Do any of you know a workshop ,preferably on the southside of Brisbane that does small jobs with a degree of accuracy and craftsmanship.I have a template to work from as well.

Being the nosey bugger I am, how much did they charge you for that piece of scrap Eurostat? I wouldn't have thought it would be too complicated for a decent tradesperson to do?

It cost me $330 which i felt was pretty steep considering i supplied the aluminium. It was done on a computer controlled lazer CNC machine. So i guess i was paying for the technology. It did a nice job of cutting out, but if it ain't accurate, the final product aint worth a pinch of #@%.
Any way they've offered to have another go,hopefully more carefully this time.
