Milling cutter supplier in Adelaide
When my brother gave me his mill and lathe, it came with cutters (CHINESE CRAP), mill, sharpen, mill, sharpen.
Finally decided to bite the bullet and get some decent stuff. Anyone have a contact for quality milling cutters and small carbide replacement tips in Adelaide PLEASE.
Not ozemestore or Paramounts.

I have bought stuff from asteg on torrens road at Croydon, and they have been helpful. There is also General Tools at cavan. Both places mainly sell to machine shops so you will get good quality tooling but it will be a bit dearer that ebay and paramounts.

I'd be interested also, but I've not found anywhere that is competitive with overseas. I just ordered a bunch of YG-1 HSS cutters from the US for 8USD each. I've generally found branded end mills to be $30 minimum here, but often $50-60.

I have given up on finding local supply. Guhring in Melbourne do express post next-day delivery. Hard to beat given the quality (Germany) and price is also much better than expected.

What are their prices like? I came across their website but wasn't clear if they sold direct to public or through distributors, so I gave up.
