    Default Mitutoyo micrometer spanner

    Hi guys,

I have three micrometers, two Mitutoyo and one Moore & Wright which I recently aquired, and whilst they all have the calibration gauges with them, none have an adjusting spanner. Any clues where I might find one, or if someone has one they are prepared to sell, please let me know.

I have a couple of spares that I don't mind loaning, with them you may be able to positively identify the one(s) you need.

Thanks for the kind offer Chief - I only need to adjust the 0-25mm Mitutoyo, as the others are spot on, so I think the standard Mitutoyo spanner will do what I need. I will check out Ebay US & UK to see what comes up there first.

I tried to post this earlier, so if it appears twice, that is why.

Thanks for the replies - I have located and purchased one on Ebay UK

Hi, try MTI in Melbourne (the distributors of Mitutoyo - I don't have their address at the moment). When I lost the small screw that holds the battery in on the Digital Verniers (fell in lathe swarf bucket) they posted me a new one for free.

    Ben.
