Model Engineers' Worksop #178
Just received the latest issue of MEW, #178.
For those of you that have a Mini Lathe there are a few projects in there of particular interest
Taper Turning Attachment
Low Cost Rev Counter (uses bike computer)
Replacement Banjo
Tailstock Turret
Swing Up Screwcutitng Tool Holder
Most of these would adapt to other bench lathes as well.
It is also interesting to see that the next issue, #179, will have an article on making a Tangential Tool Holder, quite topical on our forum at present.
Please note that I have a subscription to this magazine and it gets delivered via air mail. Not only is this way cheaper than buying them off the newsstand (less than half the cost) you get them much earlier. The current issue on the newsstand is #175.
