A couple of the drills I'm cleaning up at the moment have a bunch of rubbish in the spindle tapers that wasn't coming out with a cloth and degreaser, and I didn't have a soft enough brush on-hand to easily clean them out. So I made a taper with slots and a handle and printed a couple up - span the drill by hand and cleaned up the inside of the spindle nicely. Testing it in a not-as-grubby one to check the sizing before trying it out on one that really needed it:







Works a treat, will even seat properly in the taper with a bump. I'll try one with angled slots instead of a straight one to see if that makes a difference.
