Nitinol,,,,,,Something interesting but probably useless to most.
Memory metal, I haven't heard of this for some time and I came across it looking for something else, very quirky

Thanks for posting this thread. When I watched the video I initially thought the Nitinol was another wonder material shelved by those with vested interests in oil. Reading the article in the above link suggests that's not the case.

Interesting stuff - thanks for posting.
Obviously there are issues regarding manufacturing quality/cost, but I'd never heard of this one before. Loved the video....

Thanks for posting. A very interesting product. I loved it when they first made an engine with it out of the bicycle wheel. I expected it to turn slowly but it really took off.....
