Optical comparator
Would anyone out there have any info on an Nikon profile projector model 6C?
I've had a google but came up with nothing.
Failing that the manual for any optical comparator/profile projector could be a start.(havent googled as yet)
The first issue I have is what they use for lubrication. The vertical and focus slides for the surface light source were locked solid by some sort of dried out grease. Some gentle warming as freed them up so I can disassemble them, but what to lubricate them with? I have some silicon grease though Vaseline seems like a good idea also?
