Interesting Photos Fay & Scott USA Workshop 100 years ago
Was browsing this site http://www.lathes.co.uk/fayscott/ - check out the clever idea in 2nd photo - I'd always assumed the crosslide and ways were part of the main body of lathe.
and then almost hidden right at the end of the text there is a link to this site of 100 year old photographs of the workshop that made the lathes - first few photos are of office then the workshop photos follow.
