Most A models would of been Imperial from the factory prior to 1974/75,after this period Metric A models would of been more readily available.

I am not sure if you will find an AM,I think most would of been ARM's.

To answer Ken; -I may be wrong but I thought the A models were all imperial ex factory but I guess the question is relevant as previous owners may have changed to metric gearing and lead screws etc.
Thank you for your assistance. I'll give it go.
In setting up your Gear train in Standard configuration the only Gear that will be on your Banjo bracket will be the 80 tooth Idler with BOSS out.(This could also be an 80tooth gear without Boss bored to 5/8",you would also have to use a 3/8" space to take up the clearance on the Idler stud Bush unless you make up a shorter Bush.)

You will only have the TOP arm of the Banjo in use.

Thanks Pipeclay. Yes this a Imperial Model A with a quick change screw cutting gearbox.
Thank you Anorak Bob I'll check out the photo you mention.
Still trying to find my way around the Web page. I would have included a picture earlier but was not sure how to to this on the page and I usually take Jpeg's with the highest resolution so was not sure if there would be too much bytes for the upload. if I'm in trouble I'll retake the pic with transmittable bytes.
    Cheers

If you down load window power toy picture resizer it will do it for you. I find selecting the large is ok for this forum.

    Dave:
I'm running a Mac Book Pro. Is "window power toy picture resizer" a Windows only package ?

I am not real sure as I don't know too much about different computers. I did Google it and their where a lot of links with both window power toy and Macbook Pro.

    No problem

Has you tried uploading the picture withoput resizing it? Either my browers does it for me or the forum does. An easy way to make a picture smaller is display it on your screen and then "print screen, paste it into something like paint then crop it" that should make it small enough.
