Quality hand tools at very good prices (pretty big range)
In my travels looking for Aviation Snips I came across Harry J. Epstein Co. in Kansas City.
Pretty big range of stuff on offer and the prices look very good (to me anyway). I picked some Midwest snips for USD13.50 which is pretty hard to beat.
I've just been looking through the closeout section and there is HEAPS of stuff in there. How about 100 Bahco (Swedish made) 12" hack saw blades for USD50?
They have a little flag of the country of origin which is very handy indeed, and you can see with some brands the stuff comes from all over. Beware of the yellow, white and green flag! And if it just says "Imported" then use your scone.
They also have a cute little gizmo when you add something to your cart - try it and see . I left my cart for 24 hours and then tried to checkout (it had automatically emptied) and it said "You want to pay us for nothing?" so at least there's a bit of humour happening.
How about a pair of Knipex 8" Lineman's pliers for USD17.50?
Perhaps you have a need for one of these? Hey, it's Swedish made, and cheap!
What about a nice Bronze Hammer for USD45?
There's an enormous range of spanners, wrenches, etc.
