Quality rotary wire brush
My Multi Tool linisher had a wire brush mounted on the other end on the grinder motor.
The 200mm rotary crimped wire brush has come to the end of its life and was beginning to spit wire at me. Another good reason to wear an apron.
The brand was a 200mm diameter HIT made in Italy. I am not complaining, the brush has lasted well as I have used it a lot over 10 years.
A while back,I had tried a Josco 200mm brush but returned it straight away as it peppered me with wire from the moment I began to use it.
I tracked the HIT brand down to Blackwoods who have a branch, local here in Mackay. I was prepared to bite the bullet and pay that bit extra and wait a few days to get it.
Armed with a Blackwoods printout, I visited their shop to ID it I visited Blackwoods and was pleasantly surprised to find they had one on the shelf.
The second surprise that it was only 30 some dollars and in fact cheaper than the Josco brush I had returned. I think I shall return and buy a spare one to tuck away, just in case.
I have now fitted it and its great and I no longer have to feel or look like a porcupine.
It is nice to have a win once in a while.
Grahame
